The First Lady of Taekwondo
Mrs. Sun C. Lee is the Chairman of the Board of the American Taekwondo Association and the H.U. Lee Foundation. She has committed her efforts to continuing the legacy of her husband, the late Grand Master H.U. Lee, and helping the youth of Songahm Taekwondo through her philanthropic efforts and devotion. Mrs. Lee also serves as an international ambassador to unite people from all walks of life with one common cause, to make the world a better place, one Taekwondo Black Belt at a time.
An inspiration to us all, Mrs. Lee approaches her leisure pursuits in the same manner in which she does her business and diplomatic roles: with determination, courage, and an entrepreneurial spirit. She is an avid scuba diver who is as comfortable 70 feet below water as she is on land, charting new directions and discovering sea corals and ship wrecks. She also takes time out to enjoy the benefits of ballroom dancing, recently becoming a member of the United States Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association which administers amateur DanceSport, the competitive discipline of ballroom dancing.
Mrs. Sun Lee is known by her loving Songahm family throughout the world as the Former First Lady of Songahm Taekwondo.
