ATA Leadership NOW

Leading The Songahm Way

We enrolled our son into Leadership to improve his confidence and communication skills. Now he greets people with a smile, looks them in the eyes, gives them a healthy handshake and introduces himself. We couldn't be happier!

Leadership Profiles

Jesus and Julian Cuevas

Serving on Demo Team and Assisting with Taekwondo Classes and Testings

When Master Schreiber needs sharp, reliable performers to represent his school at public events, he calls on his elite Demo Team, among whose distinguished members are Cuevas brothers Jesus, 10, and Julian, 8, both in Leadership training. The dynamic duo also assists with Tiny Tiger classes on a regular basis. "They lead the exercises with authority even though Julian is himself only the height of the Tiny Tigers," Master Schreiber says. They even serve leadership functions as Floor Judges, speaking assertively, guiding anxious but capable fellow students through the process of rank promotional testings. As leaders in the dojahng, these youngsters are developing priceless communication skills - and possibly career skills - that will surely open doors for them throughout their lifetimes. With younger sister Nayelli quickly rising through the ranks, these remarkable siblings have set a common course for uncommon achievement in the ATA and beyond!

Songahm Changes Lives – Team PRIDE Extends Its Reach

Team PRIDE tuition assistance students often dedicate themselves to Songahm Taekwondo with such enthusiasm and diligence that in time they become some of the school's best leaders. They work hard and practice Songahm life skills in their personal, professional, educational and social lives, extending positive influences into needful places far beyond the dojahng. It is our pleasure to highlight a few of Master Jordan Schreiber's most accomplished students, who repay the kindness of Team PRIDE assistance with achievement and honor in their lives, and with true leadership in their schools and communities.
