Because I'm in the Leadership program at my ATA school, my Instructor asked me to think of a way to serve others in my town. I decided to pick up trash at a park near my house so that kids like me would have a clean place to play. My Mom and Dad and even my little brother helped. It was kinda gross, but I had fun. I really like helping people!

Instructor and 4th Degree Black Belt Mr. Rob Green completed his second mission with Operation Smile, which helps treat cleft lips and palates in children worldwide.
“I work with the medical records department,” he says. “We are the first people the patients see. The look on the parents’ faces after surgery helps you profoundly understand words like humility and gratitude.” Mr. Green is lead instructor for Hoover’s Martial Arts in Brandon, S.D.
