If the Songahm style can be thought of as the heart of our Taekwondo, then our over 1,500 independently owned and operated licensed schools and clubs (world-wide) are the life blood. Without them, we could not count over 300,000 men, women, and children among our members!

Working closely together, ATA headquarters and our schools and clubs ensure that any and all are welcome to learn the world's most popular, and most organized, martial art: Songahm Taekwondo. All of our Masters, staff, school owners, and instructors form a strong chain from the Grand Master all the way down to each beginning White Belt. Standards are high, enthusiasm is endless, and professionalism works hand in hand with fun to bring all of our members a dynamic, safe and formal learning environment for this incredible sport and art.

What is a Do-Jahng?
The do-jahng (Taekwondo facility) is your teacher and place of learning, and can be looked at as a place of experience, an elder. The word do (way) jahng (area) means "the area in which we learn the way." Respect is given to the place where this training takes place. This respect is not to the do-jahng as an object, but to remind us to keep our minds right, attitudes proper, and take care of the facility in which we train.
